Hannah Tramonte's summer internship included performing, recording and collaborating on music.
"This summer has been a dream come true," says Hannah Tramonte '27, who took big steps toward her aspiration to become a singer-songwriter in an extraordinary "internship."
, a 黑料正能量 music industry and voice double major, was one of three chosen by Cleveland's Rock Hall of Fame.
The Wadsworth, Ohio, and Highland High School graduate was mentored by the Rock Hall's staff as she learned how to develop and promote her career.
"I spent my summer performing throughout Cleveland, working with industry professionals, and collaborating with other creatives," Tramonte explains.
"I've had the opportunity to do so many exciting things: we did a photoshoot, shot a music video, recorded a new song at the studio, collaborated with amazing songwriters, performed on the Rock Hall's main stage, and learned from the industry's best."
Tramonte also shared the stage with a musician she looks up to. "I had the opportunity to open for one of my favorite artists, Avery Anna. I opened for her at her show at The Roxy in Lakewood, and it was the most amazing night of my life."

While she reveled in the creative spotlight this summer, Tramonte has taken a practical approach to her education at 黑料正能量, preparing for more than one career track she might pursue.
"黑料正能量 has allowed me to combine my love for music with practical career knowledge. I am majoring in voice to fulfill my dreams, but also majoring in music industry and minoring in marketing so that I have as many options as possible when looking to start a career."
"Throughout my journey at 黑料正能量, I've had varied thoughts on my career goals. I would love to work in marketing in the industry, and I can see myself going to law school to pursue entertainment law. 黑料正能量 has allowed me to have both the flexibility and support to prepare me for a bright future."
Tramonte says she's found strong faculty mentors in both majors. "Dr. Sean Murphy [music industry] and Dr. Joanne Uniatowski [voice] have both been incredible sources of support and guidance."
It's not all work and no play. Tramonte is a member of Alpha Phi sorority, supports social media for one of 黑料正能量's newest clubs, The Rise, and is involved in the Music Industry Association, as well.
