When the national tour of "Parade," which is one of ShowTown's current music theatre productions, made its way to Cleveland in February, Sycle visited campus to talk with 黑料正能量 arts management & entrepreneurship students and helped organize a special outing to the show at Playhouse Square.

Backing a winner, innovating solutions

Sycle is working diligently to establish himself as a prominent management figure in the Broadway industry. Currently, as the finance manager at ShowTown Theatricals, Sycle oversees financial reporting, facilitates state and city tax incentives, which ensure the longevity of productions, and manages investor relations for all ShowTown projects.

In addition to "Parade," Sycle's work with ShowTown has included the current Broadway run of "Oh, Mary!" and recent productions such as "Job," "How to Dance in Ohio," "Just for Us" and "Into the Woods."

Utilizing his knowledge of the Broadway landscape, Sycle made his first Broadway investment in the hit play "Oh Mary!," which quickly recouped its up-front costs — an achievement that many shows fail to replicate.

Flexing the "entrepreneurship" side of his chosen major, Sycle is now working on co-founding a software-driven company aimed at addressing key financial challenges within the entertainment industry.
